Terms of Service
The deal,
in plain English.
Month-to-month. No contract. Cancel anytime and walk away with your data. The rest is the careful version of that.
Effective May 23, 2026
1. The agreement
These terms cover your use of Review Us, a service operated by Marketing Lions, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When you sign up, pay an invoice, or use the dashboard, you’re agreeing to what’s on this page.
If you’re signing up on behalf of a business, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that business.
2. What Review Us does
Review Us is a hosted review-feedback funnel. We give you a branded page where customers can leave a rating and a comment. Happy customers get a one-tap path to leave a Google review. You see everything in a private dashboard locked to the Google accounts you authorize, and (on Pro and Custom) you get a monthly Customer Insight Report.
We don’t guarantee any specific number of reviews, ratings, or business outcomes. We give you the tool and the report. What you do with it is up to you.
3. Pricing & billing
Pricing is on the pricing page. There’s a one-time setup fee and a monthly subscription. Monthly invoices auto-renew until you cancel. Annual prepay invoices renew once a year.
If we ever change your monthly price, we’ll email you at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price takes effect and you won’t be charged the new rate.
Invoices are due on receipt. If an invoice is more than 14 days past due we may pause your dashboard until it’s paid.
4. Setup fees & refunds
The setup fee covers real labor: configuring your branded page, wiring it to your Google profile, writing your copy, and getting your dashboard ready. Setup fees are non-refundable once we’ve started work, which usually happens within one business day of payment.
Monthly subscription fees aren’t refundable either, but you won’t be charged for any month after you cancel. Annual prepay: if you cancel mid-year, we’ll refund the unused full months at the standard monthly rate (no 15% prepay discount on the refund).
5. Cancellation
Month-to-month. No contract. Email us at david@marketing-lions.com and we’ll cancel your subscription at the end of the current billing period. You keep dashboard access until then.
On request, we’ll send you a CSV export of every submission in your account before we shut anything off. After cancellation we keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then it’s deleted.
6. Your data
The submissions your customers leave on your Review Us page belong to you. You can export them as CSV any time from your dashboard, and on cancellation. We don’t sell them, share them with ad networks, or use them to train AI models.
See the privacy policy for what we collect, how we store it, and who can see it.
7. What your customers post
Customers write what they write. We don’t pre-screen, moderate, or edit submissions, and we’re not responsible for the content of anything a customer leaves on your page.
You’re the operator of your account, which means you’re responsible for handling submissions on your end — responding to 3-star or below feedback, following up with recoverable customers, and complying with any privacy or labor laws that apply to how you contact people.
If a submission contains something unlawful, threatening, or obviously fake and you want it removed from your dashboard, email us and we’ll take it down within one business day.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Review Us to:
- Hide negative feedback from review platforms where customers expect to leave honest reviews, or interfere with the integrity of any platform’s review system.
- Collect submissions you intend to post as fake reviews under other people’s names.
- Send unsolicited messages, spam, or anything that violates anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.).
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access parts of the service you weren’t given access to.
- Resell access to your dashboard without our written OK.
Our review funnel is designed to comply with Google’s review policy: every customer sees the same feedback form, and every customer who wants to leave a public Google review can.
If we believe you’re using the service for any of the above, we may suspend or cancel your account.
9. Uptime & support
We aim for 99.9% uptime but don’t guarantee a specific SLA on Starter or Pro. Custom tier customers get a 4-hour support response time during business hours (9–5 Central, Monday–Friday). Everyone else gets a one-business-day response.
Scheduled maintenance windows, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Google), and force-majeure events don’t count against uptime. We’ll always tell you what happened.
10. Warranties (or lack of them)
Review Us is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We don’t guarantee specific results — number of reviews, star averages, revenue impact, or anything else.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — lost revenue, lost reviews, reputational harm, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to Review Us is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $500, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits. If yours doesn’t, the limit applies to the maximum extent allowed.
12. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update Review Us — new features, retired features, UI changes — without notice. We won’t pull a feature you’re actively using without giving you at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export anything affected.
We may also update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The “Effective” date at the top of this page always shows when the current version went live. If you keep using Review Us after a change takes effect, you’re agreeing to the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and both of us consent to jurisdiction there.
14. Contact
